The Big Island is considered the breadbasket of the state, but we currently don’t grow enough to support our state let alone our island. Right now the vast majority of the food we eat on this island is imported and we have limited supply. I plan to support our farmers by helping to develop the infrastructure they need to be successful, helping them obtain funding, and protecting their land from crime.
